Layering of products is important to achieve perfect synergy of powerful ingredients. Allow a minute between each product application. One must always use one of the RegimA day products containing sun protection over the top of the pigmentation products. In as little as five minutes in the sun without a sunblock hyperpigmentation can suddenly reappear.
Never allow pigmented skin to become too dry. Pigmentation treatment is greatly enhanced by RégimA 'Peel & Heal' treatments.
IN-SALON PIGMENTATION TREATMENT
Treatment of hyperpigmentation is a slow process and patience is required. The first signs of improvement are only seen in two or three weeks. A steady, gradual improvement is the only safe way to eliminate hyperpigmentation. Aggressive treatment can result in exacerbation of the pigmentation. One should try and establish the cause and eliminate this if possible. The most common cause is hormonal, from pregnancy or the Pill. Pigmentation is also the side effect of some medications.
A series of New Age 'Peel & Heal' treatments should be undertaken. One may undergo weekly peels and the length of time on the skin would be gradually increased or the percentage of the peel increased. Results are seen in two or three weeks with the peels. Results are seen in two or three months without the peels. The reason is that peeling the skin greatly facilitates the absorption of the active ingredients.
IMPORTANT: It is impossible for the therapist to promise a client that pigmentation will be eliminated in a certain length of time. There are too many factors to consider as everyone's skin is different, causes, age, skin type, skin condition, treatment tolerance.
